is the "camberwell submarine" brutalist ?
Yes! Forgot about this, just up the road from me

I've posted a picture of this before, but as it wasn't mine and I've just took the opportunity to take a photo of my own.
The Cathedral in Rio (with setting sun) and its neighbour. A 2-for-1 deal. And sorry about photo quality

Not brutalist but the architects had a lot of fun here. The Spodek (saucer) sports area in Katowice, Poland which looks like a flying saucer that has crash landed through the building in front, the Międzynarodowe Centrum Kongresowe (International Congress Center).

I guess we all knew we were going to "The Fountainhead" eventually.

I'm going to The Fountainhead tonight!

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the DWP building in central Leeds, near the Market
Quarry House

The façade seen from Bus Station/Market (St Peters Street in front of it)
The aircraft shot has the West Yorkshire PlayHouse, just on the bottom-right corner

It was built on the site of another brutalist, but built as 'social housing' (or whatever it was called at the time); Quarry Hill Flats
Built 1938 - demolished 1978
In this picture, the Market is at the bottom of the picture

Cake or ice cream? The choice is endless ...
That would make a good backdrop to a scene in Blake's 7.

BTW, you're brave cycling on that road, the local version of Santa Pod.
It's from the 'Dodge the broken glass' cycle path between the River Nene and the brewery.

I know where you are. Its a dreadful route, full of junkies and debris. Shame, because with the recent redevelopment much if the route by the river is now otherwise quite pleasant. You're clearly a brave and resourceful individual.

Turns out it had the same architect as this place, thought bits looked familiar
