You would think so based on all the London Audax's Im entering, but no.
I used to live in London, but moved back to the New Forest a few years ago.
I guess living on the South coast, there's not that many +400k rides close by!

I've had a re-jig of a couple of events due to heading on holiday in April, so I've withdrawn rather than keep a place that someone else could take.

Mine starts on 4th Feb with Alfreton to Wrags 200 and I'll only have a single attempt at a 300 now at the end of April.

Entered 'Mad March' 100k from Cranbrook and 'Cornish 100' also 100k amazingly from Falmouth.

Thinking about Welly Wheelers Hilly Hundred' from Taunton - anyone done it and can tell me anything? Apart from it being quite hilly.

Will probably enter 'Lizard and Camel' and 'Four Hundreds Two Hundred' (both 200k) once our holiday plans are clearer. Both in Cornwall.Not done them before so if anyone has and can tell me something, that would be good.....

Maybe do 'Old Roads' (300k) as a perm in the long days of June.

Thats it then for calendar events until the autumn without travelling a long way.

Yes, it's quite possibly a very sensible deal (especially with that bridge-work); it just takes you a-back when you're used to paying £15 or less!
(and if it was a tenner, it would sell out in minutes. which is daft when 1-in-3 don't start ... )
