When do you take the Christmas tree & decorations down?

There's a broken 3' artificial tree in my back yard. Some 🤬 must have chucked it over the fence.

As an aside, anyone recall a bloke being interviewed years back who celebrated Christmas every day, and ate a turkey dinner for every evening meal? Did I dream this?

No it was real, I remember seeing it on the news quite a few years back.

I didn't get chnave to put up any decs or tree this year, what with work and other stuff going on. but we spent the day at my partner's hosue anyway and she made a grand job of it. She has taken hers down today but I think traditionally it's 12th night (5th or 6th Jan depending what sources you read)

Usually the bank Holiday that follows New Years Day, if there is one, which will be Monday this year for me

Didn't have any this year, had some crackers and cards about the place but they don't really count do they?

First few days of new year. I wait for a day of decent weather to take down the outside stuff, and Mrs Salad de-grottos the interior stuff.

Christmas tree now cut up and in the recycling bin waiting for collection on Wednesday next week

We did not have a tree this year. We had a star and a varety of other Christmas lights around the house. It was much easier and very cosy. They will get packed away on 1st January.

The Christmas lights get turned off on the first Sunday after the Epiphany (8-Jan this year) then the decorations get taken down over the next few days.

Ours taken down the day after Boxing Day

A neighbour who's flat I can see from my window put a tree up on Christmas Day and that was it. I haven't seen it since. I'm not a 'snooper' by the way. She put the tree in her window which you couldn't miss seeing.

No decs this year but I’ll try to remember to take the cards down tonight before i go away!

Ours came down on 2nd January 2017.

1996 for me Mum liked them but when she died I never bothered. The cat would destroy them anyway.
