Went out for a short ride today...saw a small group of riders in orange team kit but no others

Club run cancelled today due to ice. Still black ice in the shady lanes this afternoon. Only cyclists I saw (from the car) were on the main roads getting their bikes coated with road-salt spray.

Roads still icy round here all days unless your on the main routes, i thought feck that as 2 people fell off last winter on a club run in better conditions.

Some of us were working night shift last night, another Glasgow/Manchester/Glasgow drive. The world of air freight doesn't recognise such trivialities as Christmas!
Spent today trying - unsuccessfully - to sleep
.Now fitting ice tyres to the MTB so hope to get out tomorrow.
