I was under my pick up doing a few jobs for the forthcoming MOT. It might've been easier to gaffa tape a few £50 notes to the underside, but Woman was quite insistent that I fix it proper like.
Anyway, all done. Drive to work tomoz and drop off a load of gear, then cycle in the rest of the week.

It would have been a 100 miler, but the ice was starting to form under my wheels, that's above and beyond the call of duty, so I bailed at 92 miles, that's still (nearly) a metric ton and a half, I'll settle for that

Would of loved a ride out today to bump the 2014 score up but a stomach bug has flattened me for two days so no miles at the minute. That and the frozen snow through the local lanes means the end of the year might be bike free

Drove over to Hathersage en famile and went for a walk. Only saw one cyclist all the way there and back. Barely got to freezing all day, plenty of snow, ice on the roads. Good decision of the locals to stay at home, eat stilton and drink port
Might venture out NYE but it'll be down to Cheshire if I do, and then only on the main roads. Snake Pass was closed due to snow this morning
