In Glasgow I have a good few for different occasions, with different people and different times of the year.

This time of the year or a Friday beer I like The Drum and Monkey, Veronis, The Bier Halle, Sloanes, and Babbity Bowster if anyone knows them. Feel lost i'm not in one tonight instead of being stuck at home with a sore leg.

Pubs I like

Love The Old Bell in Harrogate
The oldest bar in Prague up at the castle is great
Pub in camden I can never remember the name of

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Blue Bell, Moston, Manchester
The Vine, Dunham Massey
Bar Fringe, Manchester
Fagans, Sheffield
The Roebuck, Teddington.
Errrr.........recently, Sporloos (Broken Spoke), Turvuren, Belgium.

Haven't been there for ages but The Pub With No Name (no sign and half a mile down a dirt track on the Hants/Sussex border in the middle of nowhere) had fine ales and a good atmosphere.

Bon Accord is the only boozer in Glasgow for me

In Edinburgh however
Guilford Arms
Berts bar
Blue Blazer
Cafe Royal

Not fussed with these over priced old stylee theme pubs but the traditional boozer is fast dying out even diggers isn't the same anymore since 80/- isn't made by S & N now and the management changed

I like the Karma Sutra Indian Restaurant in Glasgow ~ no kidding

Not nearly as good as it used to be in there. Staff are shocking! The Harlequin group of rests are nowhere as good as they were after Charan Ghill sold them.

I'll give you better places to try next time you're over here

The Sair Inn, Hoyle Ing, Linthwaite, Huddersfield (microbrewery, full of cats, stinks of sour beer and cat piss, but then who's fussed, run by an absolutely barking mad Irishman. Log fires and more students than than you can shake a stick at)
The Lion, Blakey Ridge, N Yorks. Great food, log fires, Theakstons last time I looked and rooms for the night. Camping field at rear. Full of Teesside students.
The Kings Head, Holmfirth. Fantastic beer and a roller coaster ride depending on who is in. "Fight the outsiders" night is particularly popular:sad:

Since moving house nearly two years ago I haven't found a decent boozer locally

More research needed.

Anytime. Would rather give a decent place the money. I'm known as Indian boy by a few of my mates as i'd eat them everyday so I know what's what. The last time we were in there they tried to palm my mates wife off with something it cleary wasn't.

She just kept lying saying it was just the way they did it in there. Hate liars. They were trying to palm her off with a chasni instead of a jalfrezi. Shocking. She was a cheeky cow as well. not been back since which is a shame as if she had just said sorry that is the wrong dish. We'll change it, we would have went back. But no she starting treating us like some halfwits. Shame as she had no idea at the time the amount we had spent. When she found out 6 of us had spent £400 on drink she soon backtracked. Too late dear!!!!!!
