He doesn't know the difference between a hippo and a spider though! Silly boy.

What would be your fee for removal of said spider, presuming you survive?

I'll come and pick it up and put it out into the garden for you at no cost whatsoever.

I came to terms with spiders years ago and know that the pathetic types we have in this country will not harm anyone.

Doug, who rescues insects and small animals from certain death all the time (I have even revived quite a few bees using sugar mixed with water before, and it's most satisfying to watch it come back to life again!).

Underestimating?
Hmmm, it may be a bit crunchy, and may get the legs stuck in my teeth. Do you think that the legs on spiders wriggle around even when the spider is dead and the legs have been chewed off - like half a worm?
Might have to up my wages a little

No, a spider moves by fluid that is in it's body. A spider is, in a sense, a hydraulic machine!

He'll be even more bloody ripped once that hippo gets hold of him!

Roit, Specher, where do you live? with my knowledge of spider biology and previous experience with rescuing other small creatures, I think I'm your man for the job and I'll charge you absolutely nothing.

Let me at it, let me at it!!

'Cos spiders have feelings too you know.

Heck, I even had one crawling about on me the other day!

Yes, very cute and very cuddley, and big and strong.

The spider, on the other hand, does not look too happy tho!

Buggi, I have a dilemma here. If I find Steve Backshall for you, it would be easier to ask him to remove the spider, than ask you to get here.

 Very sorry MDB.

As well as following this thread I am watching "Law and Order - Criminal Intent" with the most excellent Vincent D'Onofrio.

Will post a pic of him when I find a good one, or remember how to upload a pic that I already have on this forum.

Him?? the spider of this beefcake you are talking about??

....Oh right, Vincent D'Onofrio.

Alternatively, just empty the spider out with the tea and let it go on it's way.
