Sandy Petersen. Have played in two of his games with him.
Ron Ayres. Borrowed his spare K100 to do a CC50 in the States, then toured around Texas with him.
I don't really do famous so while I've probably met others, these are the two I care about and they're famous if you know them :-)

Jim Irwin, Moon-landing astronaut. I was about 8 and shook his hand. Not the most famous but definitely the awesomest.

I worked with an astronaut for a few months many years ago. It was just odd, sitting having a cup of tea with them and all you can think to say is "you've been into space!". It still amazes me thinking I know someone who has been 'out there'.

Discretion and NDAs prevent me from describing some of the people I have met and worked with over the years, from the famous to the infamous.

I took a life drawing class with Michelle Pfeiffer. She's very funny and appreciates crass jokes.

Had dinner a few times with Mark Knopfler when I worked at a place called Stuk Sound. Mel and Stu referred to him as Knob-feeler, which was always funny.

Worked with Meat Loaf at an NUFC event. Bit of a prick, but he wasn't very well.

Worked with some random bands (including Ndubz, Basshunter) when promoting a club night.

Random footballers and bands over the years at signings/meet and greets which were brief but enjoyable encounters.

I've always got the Chuckle Broyher's name wrong. I usually refer to them as "The Tickle Brothers".

My OH has met Jimmy Saville on numerous occasions, this was his main claim to fame. He's shut up about it now.

My BIL used to work at the BBC in London so has wazzed next to many celebritys. After the Jimmy Saville scandal broke he recieved a letter from the BBC asking him if he'd ever been assaulted by Jimmy Saville. Happily he hasn't.
I ran alongside that Saville creature in the 1983 London Marathon and he was an obnoxious piece of .. anyway. I decided that I didn't want to be beaten by someone in a lame' tracksuit, ta very much and I caught up and ran with Bernie Clifton in his Ostrich suit and he was a really nice chap. I spent a happy 5 or 6 miles running alongside him before I decided that I wasn't being beaten by a man dressed as an ostrich either

Saville handed me a Mars bar at the finish of the Glasgow half marathon in 1992.
