I've always got the Chuckle Broyher's name wrong. I usually refer to them as "The Tickle Brothers".

My OH has met Jimmy Saville on numerous occasions, this was his main claim to fame. He's shut up about it now.

My BIL used to work at the BBC in London so has wazzed next to many celebritys. After the Jimmy Saville scandal broke he recieved a letter from the BBC asking him if he'd ever been assaulted by Jimmy Saville. Happily he hasn't.

Bill Oddie, at an event held at an RSPB reserve in Kent, to mark the Elmley reserve 20th anniversary. What a horrible, dismissive little **** he was.

My brother did a moth trapping piece with him for Bill Oddie goes wild. He would confirm that, and add more!

We were at the recording of the reality TV guitar playing thing he did and can third that. We were good friends with the poor woman who was asked to teach him. His attitude was "I've had a number 1 hit, I don't need to learn anything". No redeeming features.

What is this reality tv guitar playing programme you speak of @w00hoo_kent ?

I must have clean missed that.

I need to know, on a need to know basis.

Many thanks.

It was called Play It Again apparently and was back in 2007. They got, I think 6, celebrities to learn how to play instruments so that they could do a musical challenge. Bill Oddie 'wanted to play a rock solo on stage' although I think he actually just wanted to 'get free advertising for his daughters attempt at a music career'. They recorded the stage stuff for him at the International Guitar Foundation (IGF) Summer school which we were at with a delegate.
