Met loads because used to do Wrap parties in the pub I used to manage.

Robert Addie : Used to play Sir Guy of Gisborne in Robin Hood. Used to live in one of Charles Churches houses in Wiltshire where I used to chef. Good friend for 6 or 7 years, died far to young of cancer.

Seve : Met him, while picking up my then girlfriend. He was waiting to board Concord (she worked at check in) Signed his boarding card for me, because she was so nice to him. Had a 5 minute chat and was totally awestruck.

Sean Connery : Did the wrap party for First Knight in the pub, Richard Gere didn't turn up but Sean Connery popped in for an hour. Very nice block with no pretensions. Even helped carry out some of the buffet! Top Fella!

I've been on stage several times with Jonny Greenwood (before he was famous and when he called himself Jonathan). I've sung with Tom Hollander and from a different world Ian Bostridge, Toby Spence and a few people who have acheived more modest celebrity in that world. Mrs W used to know John Mark Ainsley, Paul Agnew and Roderick Williams quite well. I conducted the choir for Howie Watkins' wedding - he married a friend of ours.

The most well-connected person I've never met is probably @User.

According to wikipedia he is. He was friends with an old school buddy of mine, we had a nice chat. He was a really nice and very interesting chap. I enjoyed my 40 minutes or so running alongside him.
