I have a wallet or two, but like a few people on here, they tend to be more storage for important cards.
I use a virtual wallet for my payment cards, including debit (No cost transactions abroad) and have all relevant loyalty cards, library card on there etc etc - uber convenient, and one less thing to keep a track of, or have to find when lost.
One thing I only tried once, but couldn't get to work, was using the virtual debit card to get money out of a hole in the wall.
Looking it up again now, it appear my bank, FD, do not support it, so that would be why.
Other things I very much like the virtual wallet for are:
Train tickets
Flight boarding passes
Concert tickets

After loosing my debit card last week, i had to dig my wallet because i was using cash until the replacement card arrived. But generally speaking, no, I don't use a wallet. It would be daft since there's only one card i carry and i tend not to use cash these days... so just carry the card.
I stopped using a wallet in 1999 after losing it one payday. In those days i was paid cash weekly, so lost a week's wages and my bank card. Keeping cash in one pocket and card in the other means I'm less likely to lose both at once.

You think that daring? I used to do that nearly all the time in the 70,80,90,00,10s pretty much. Now going out without the phone is only 5 days a week.

Never owned a purse . But I still have a Wallet with credit cards , credit card, cycling uk card , driving licence and £20 in it .
Loyalty cards of all kinds are mostly on my phone.
I don’t use my phone for credit / debit transactions as history has taught me I am must more likely to lose my phone, than I am my wallet. 😀
( I do internet banking just not on tech I am carrying around with me all the time ).

I still have one. All my physical cards live in it..........in a drawer in my bedside cabinet. Everything is in Google Wallet.

Maybe I've still got the embedded idea that use of the phone was for a special occasion, from the rarity value of even a house phone during most of my life. I suppose that I went out without a phone from the 1950s, and didn't even have a house phone until the late 70s. (I expect that some even older fogey will top that now!). Going out without your phone in them thar days used to be called...just going out!
Even when we had a Motorola Brick in the 90s it felt as if there should be a fanfare of trumpets when you extended that aerial and announced that you were going to ring someone. Absolutely amazing that you're going to connect to a series of multi million dollar satellites nowadays to send someone a picture of your dinner. Where's the Gravitas in that? I don't suppose even declarations of war, famine, pestilence and death were made until after 6 and at weekends ('cos that's the time to phone your friends) and even enemies, if you wanted cheap rate calls back then.
Straying a bit off topic there. My wallet is allegedly proof against scrotes scanning your cards so there's some technology there, if it actually works.

I don't have a wallet or purse, everything is on my phone.
I do have a slim cardholder, where I keep my bus pass in case the bike breaks down during the commute.
I don't think the OAP pass is available on Google wallet, but I might be wrong.
I also keep a physical card in this cardholder, in case of phone/till malfunctions, and my driving license for ID should I need it.

I think it is the modern idea that if you go out, and something happens; what will you do without a phone? 😱 But truth is, “something happening that incapacitates you” and “No one around to help” are extremely rare combinations. In fact you are better off having a wallet on you with your details, a person to contact, and any medication needs.
Meanwhile the zombies and out and about.
