It took me 35 minutes to clean my 6 windows. I'm much slower these days and I had a few wobbles as I couldn't use my walking stick, with both hands being used to do the job, but I did it and looking at the windows from inside, they look quite shiny, possibly even better than when done by those crappy water fed pole systems!!

My window cleaner uses a pole and imo does an excellent job of it. I have quite a big house with an extension plus conservatory. He charges £12.00, money well spent I think.

Our window cleaner only does the front of the house, £3 mind he generally gets a Coffee and sometimes a bucket of warm water.

since my last post in this thread, 6 years ago, I've been through two more window cleaners. The first was crap because the windows were as mucky after he'd cleaned them as they were before, and he charged £25. The 2nd lot were quite good and charged £15 but after a year or so they just stopped coming, despite me promptly paying them every time. I think they prefer commercial clients. So I'm sat here with two years worth of filth on my 1st floor windows. I might have to buy a pole like Accy's.
