We've signed up to upgrade from 8.1 to 10; 8.1 does require a bit of getting used to.Can't comment on windows 7 as I went from vista to 8.1 and ..... can't wait for the update 10 can't possibly be any worse than 8.1.... my main problem is when you save something it never saves anything to the same place twice..... i have to search the hard drive to find owt!
That's cheatingEasy, peasy......get a Mac
Mine didn't get the icon either... I had to google it... then you get some code that you cut and paste into wordpad then go into dos and run it from there and an icon magically appears when you reboot it.. so for me the process over about an hour was.....I'm still waiting for the icon to appear on my W7 laptop, but no sign of it. I'd rather trial it on the lappy before taking the plunge on my desktop as knowing Microsoft, there won't be an option to go back to W7 if I'm not happy with 10.
Windows 3.1 is my favourite, I like the index cards so I'm staying with that.
