merino all the time but I go for the lightest possible one because otherwise I find them too warm (but I don't feel the cold, just can't cope with the heat).
Bought one from Whitby lidl yesterday .Cycled for 2 hours over the North Yorks moors this morning with the base layer under a lidl top. (Bought lat year)
Worked great in the wind and rain this morning.Another one on order for my birthday next week .
regards
Mark
I could do with another couple of base layer tops myself. Will have to give santa a few hints. I use craft presently and they are pretty decent but happy to try something else.
Make sure they're 100% Merino. Mixed fibres are nowhere near as good. I'm not sure the Lidl/Aldi ones are pure Merino. BaaBaa are my current favourites, but there are plenty out there and a good quality one will last for ages. I've found the Chocolate Fish ones good too.
