Incredibly dull though. Bit like going to a gym and sitting on an exercise bike staring at some mind numbing crap on a tv screen

Only ever used turbo twice,really not for me.Saying that I've never been one for gyms.I'll stick to the bad weather or nowt !!

I follow the Yates twins on Strava and Simon has just started using one of those. Admittedly, he might have a tad more motivation

It's completely spannered my weekend rides, not because of the weather but because it's so bloody dark in the mornings when I have to go. I don't fancy going aris over tip in a pothole because I can't see where I'm going at 7am.

Doesn't stop the commute, of course. I can see the potholes there (and I have suspension to take care of it if I do happen to hit one).

Anyone who professes to enjoy cycling in the snow obviously doesn't ride anywhere near urban secondary schools.
