Winter Gloves

Can someone recommend me a pair of gloves that I can use over the colder months (preferably with a link)

The criteria is...

1. Full finger (not mitts)
2. Must not be bulky (like ski-gloves)
3. Must have gel or substantial padding on the palms, heel etc
4. Less than £30
5. Size medium
6. Not fussed about the colour......within reason !

Thanks in advance

Sealskinz, warm and waterproof without the bulk. A pair of thin thermal liner gloves can be worn under them if required http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sealskinz/g...id|96436346116|pkw|sealskin gloves|pmt|e|prd|

I use Extremities Velo gloves, in the largest size they will sell me.
Just basic thin windstopper, but provided the gloves are a loose fit and the wind it kept out, I find it perfectly OK.
If it's properly cold (< -5°), my fingers do go numb, but they warm up OK once the rest of me has warmed up properly, after 15-20 mins riding.

No gel though - I use double bar tape.

I have been posting this for about 5 years and still stand by it.

I have bought all sorts of Winter gloves but nothing that has been breathable and water tight.

2 years ago I bought these overmitts for a motorcycle trip where it poured down all week. My hands stayed warm and dry. Since then I have used them for bad weather cycling. I wear marino gloves underneath. They are first class. I am not a cycling snob so the aesthetics dont bother me.

I've got a similar pair of Montane Resolute Mitts in eVent, going dirt cheap because one of the inner fibre pile mitts was missing. Great for keeping the water out, not so good for dexterity, though in my case that doesn't matter because my bad weather bike uses bar end shifters.

[QUOTE 4509062, member: 259"]Decathlon 700 winter gloves are great and under £20. For extremely cold weather, I wear silk undergloves as well.

I have a pair of those. Swmbo got them for me. They certainly keep my hands warm in sub zero temperatures. They are slightly bulkier than I like but that is a minor gripe. I have a range of gloves for different conditions. Have a look at Planet X who offer quite a wide range.
