I got multiple visits from the P*ncture fairy at the weekend, on the bikes running the pneumatic, unshielded tyres. Slime tubes are good for 2 small punctures, then you have to either add more sealant / patch them, or bin them. I've had Tannus solid tyres on my Hybrid for over a year, and although they are fantastic on short rides, they feel pretty horrible on anything over 50 odd miles ( terrain dependant), IME. So I wouldn't fancy them on my road / distance bikes. The Durano plus on my 9 speed Roady, have been faultless, but they are quite draggy compared to the Mavic Yksion Pro grips, on my 720. I'm not going to risk knackering up a decent set of Tubs, so it's either, run a tub tyre in a clincher, as a 'super inner tube', or D+ for me.
