Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Come on! Today's word is a US variant spelling. I want to hear people complaining! OK the UK variant Foetid has pretty much fallen out of use but it's the principle of the thing. (Waves flag frantically)

Wasn't sure about today's word, thought it was an abbreviation. Re yesterday's word, had to guess DILDO because I couldn't think of another word ending in O at the time. Tells you where my mind's at!

I think I did too.

Well I have learned something new today.

Segue is pronounced Segway. I’ve been spelling it wrong all my life.
Not that I spell it much.

Yesterday's answer was dodgy

I actually rejected it on an earlier go as it didn't seem American enough

I had only one letter after my first 2 guesses today which was a consonant. I guessed correctly on my third attempt based entirely on the fact that it was Christmas and it was the only word I could think of. But then isn't Wordle supposed to be randomly generated? The Christmas connection to today's answer didn't feel very random to me.

I listened to an interview with the inventor. It was originally random but I think NY Times can tweak it if they want. They also removed some words from the list.

It is very easy today to spot the pattern of those who go through all the vowels in the first two guesses, only to twig that there are none, so get it in the third. Me? Just a lucky guess.
