Green Day were ok to start with, angry young men rebelling against society, they are now mega rich 40 somethings, their music no longer holds any kudos. They stopped doing anything original a long time ago and just do the same thing over and over.

I agree with that part but the music was so terrible it distracted from the message which was a shame. Up there with the other wet metal movement bands like the Offspring and a little later bands like Sum 41.

Can I mention Radiohead again on the thread, that turgid whining aural insult dirge Paranoid Android has just been on the radio for what feels like a month. Thom's incessant hideous nasal whining could be the soundtrack for any Guantanamo cell or SAS mock capture white noise exercise. S***e
