It clearly is a marvellous place.

I shall celebrate today , by very thoroughly 'knowing what I like, and liking what I know'

I mean I was born there (Huddersfield) and half my family lived in that glorious county for generations.

OK i did leave fairly young to spread the Yorkshire benefits more widely.

But I still love going back for the landscape , and the accent.

@Venod - they blew them up early. I was planning to go and watch but missed it.

So instead I'm sat outside Sid's Café in Holmfirth before riding up Holme Moss to (hopefully) meet son no. 2 at Langsett who's doing t'Moss/Snake Pass/Strines solo because he's daft.
