In short, yes.

I'm sure there are several threads on here to read up on.

Make sure you keep the sealant topped up, as dried out its just ballast sticking your tyre to the rim.

You will want plugs, to seal any holes you may get that are too big for the sealant to deal with by itself. Just look up tubeless plugs - there are a variety on sale.

And as T4Tomo says, keep the sealant topped up, just adding by adding more every few months. If you don't have a tool to remove the valve core, you will want one for topping up the sealant, but they are cheap enough.

eBike!!!! Wash your mouth out with carbolic. Actually they did have one in the shop and if the lad hadn't told me it was electric I wouldn't have know, just a very slightly thicker down tube.

They should have let you go on a test ride but not tell you it's electric. You'd come back thinking that you're pretty fast on it. Must be the aero wheels.

Just look on YouTube as well. They can be a bit of a faff at times, but when your on gravel tracks and giving it some thrash you'll appreciate it.

Contacted Alpkit, their still picking parts so it hasn't been built yet. So much for "you'll have it by the beginning of June ".

Spontaneous i was just thinking about that last week.many months ago just after breakfast.Mrs P said i fancy fish and chips for lunch.Great i said local chippy is good i hear.No she replied Whitby so off we went a lovely day out.Now the father in law is with us,all that has stopped.A great deal of planning now goes in to any venturing out.

A big box arrived today.

Strange looking contraption.

Started putting it together.


Added the last few bits.

Just as I finished building it the heavens opened.
Waited an hour, then took it out for a quick six miles.
Needs a few little tweak's here and there, mainly seat height and handlebar angle.
Incredibly light, smooth gear change, brakes need bedding in. seems a very comfortable ride, that might change after fifty miles. Only rode on the tarmac today. So far really pleased, sometimes you really do need to just dive in head first.

Still selling the old Genesis.
