The Camino is something that I've had my eye on too, I could fancy a new gravel bike with clearance for bigger tyres (my Checkpoint has 38mm tyres and that's about the maximum you'd get in it). I could also fancy a lighter, carbon gravel bike but can't really justify the cost.
Alpkit have had a few ex-demo & display models for sale recently, in various specs, from about £1,149, although that's not much cheaper than a basic new one. I'd heard about the paint on the aluminium models too and having looked at the photos some of the ex-demo models do look at tatty in places. Overall they seem like a cracking bike though.

One question, I've asked for the new bike to be set up tubeless. Never had tubeless before but I thought I'd give it a go.

Do I need any tools/repair kit for this set up?

In short, yes.

I'm sure there are several threads on here to read up on.

Make sure you keep the sealant topped up, as dried out its just ballast sticking your tyre to the rim.

You will want plugs, to seal any holes you may get that are too big for the sealant to deal with by itself. Just look up tubeless plugs - there are a variety on sale.

And as T4Tomo says, keep the sealant topped up, just adding by adding more every few months. If you don't have a tool to remove the valve core, you will want one for topping up the sealant, but they are cheap enough.

eBike!!!! Wash your mouth out with carbolic. Actually they did have one in the shop and if the lad hadn't told me it was electric I wouldn't have know, just a very slightly thicker down tube.
They should have let you go on a test ride but not tell you it's electric. You'd come back thinking that you're pretty fast on it. Must be the aero wheels.

EDIT: fixed typo.

Just look on YouTube as well. They can be a bit of a faff at times, but when your on gravel tracks and giving it some thrash you'll appreciate it.

It would seem I spoke to soon. DPD are saying they've had notification but don't yet have the parcel.
Contacted Alpkit, their still picking parts so it hasn't been built yet. So much for "you'll have it by the beginning of June ".
