i watched a lovely short film,about CTC members,getting a train from London to Rugby Midland,having a sooper ride out and then the train back.May 1955.It was brilliant.Very few cars about,stops at cafes and pub during the day,but the clothing oh my jackets as in everyday use,scarves plus fours it was amazing and one bloke smoking a pipe.Fantastic bit of nostalgia.

I think there was a little licence in the supposed route, they appear to be coming from both directions at once
