The Keelman in Newburn, just west of Newcastle and near to the north bank of the Tyne. Home of the Big Lamp Brewery and producer of some very fine ales. The pub is at the left hand end with the brewery over to the right.

I'd never heard of The Box Social, I might just try and make a visit next time I'm up there.
We've been going in the Keelman for years, though not that often unfortunately. It was supposedly up for sale recently but I don't know what's happened regarding that. Hopefully it'll stay the same as it is. The Keelman Brown is my go to when in there too, although they once had Old Genie on, which is about 7.5%. Only dared chance a half with the meal, as I was driving.
