My wife (and bike) in tunnel under disused Railway line at Washington, Tyne-Wear. I think it may once have been the Leamside line, but, not sure about that.

Tunnel beneath the railway twixt Crawford and Abington - many locals refuse to drive through it and local graffiti artistes have to compete with lorry drivers etc when it comes to the amount of paint they leave behind. The truckers win when comes to amounts of tunnel removed - one recently left gouged tram tracks either side of the tunnel
