Two from the rear garden .
The Horse chestnut was one of two that my partner and her children grew from conkers they picked up whilst out walking about 20 years ago .
The Christmas tree is one we bought as a rooted one about 7 years ago but we only planted it in the garden 5 years ago it spent a couple of years almost in shock then the last two years it's gone barmy with growth .

it's only ever been in a sub 9 inch pot and never been greatly looked after , in fact the second one died about 3 years ago as it got left in the new owners porch and never got watered

Yes to both .
But not sure we could just plant it out anyway as a lot are blighted with a bug and loads got chopped down a few years ago
