Your darkest cycling secret....

I sing to myself (and the pigeons/pheasants/rabbits/hares/rooks etc) when riding, as I always have a Walkman on (fairly loud).

I bought my nine-year-old son a full suspension Emelle MTB a year ago as his new bike (it was second-hand is my defence!)

I ride a Pashley :birthday:

At work :birthday:

(and the rod brakes are the best laxative know to man!)

During Sportives I try to tuck in behind a female cyclist, just for the view.

Ummm, I still recall the L2B with the delightfully long legged lady in red lycra shorts on the bumpy stretch of road with the road vibrations rippling seductively all the way up each leg.

Nurse.......!

I could probably walk some of my commute quicker than I bike in the City (after being relocated) but don't want to a) stop cycling or :hyper: give up my prestigious bike parking spot. I have now extended my ride home - it's a small part of the Southend Fnrttc - to justify taking the bike every day.

Good grief!! Truly shocking:biggrin:

Yes I know. I think that's why I've overcompensated with a Rohloff-equiped tourer and recumbent. I wonder if there's some sort of support group one can go to. I suppose I really ought to try a road bike one day.
