And the first frogs appeared back in the pond yesterday.

An interesting week.

A fox on Monday.

A proper red squirrel in the wild on Friday.

A badger last night.

Intersting to watch a group of 10 or so crows gang up to drive off 3 buzzards that were wheeling around on the thermals this afternoon. I've previously seen 2 or 3 crows do this to single buzzards before, but never seen them go after a group.

Another (slightly crap) barn owl pic taken yesterday late afternoon, while on a ride out on the fen near here. One day I'll take a decent camera with me. She/ he flew right over me giving me the beady eye, and such encounters I always treasure.

Not the best picture. Great crested grebe with x3 young. At the local pond. On the harbour later during low tide: RB merganser. X6. Kingfisher, curlew,redshank,teal,widgeon,sanderling,BT godwit,shelduck at least 25 of them. Love the harbour.

Spotted on my morning ride. I've seen a few dolphins on the river but in my short time in Perth this was the furthest upriver that I've seen one and certainly closest to the shore. It was trying to herd some fish over to the riverside but not having much luck - really needed a few mates to help!

We reckon we had over 50 of those in the garden at breakfast time yesterday. Absolutely everywhere they are at the moment.

I just get 2 or 3, along with 2 or 3 Great tits.

Goldfinch are the most popular by far in my garden, up to 14 at a time.
