Spotted our local osprey and nest whilst out walking, no pics! Also 4 species of butterfly, red admiral small blue and 2 yet to identify.

Came across two cars stopped on opposite sides of the road on my evening ride not too far from Hedge End train station on Bubb Lane, with a poor deer bleating by the kerb (upright but legs tucked under it). 😥

Didn't see any blood, hoping it recovered from the shock of whatever happened and it lived to fight many more days.🤞
 
Next door’s roof ! I don’t mind them, but I think I’m in the minority. We’re on the estuary so well within their territory.

Female Blackcap. This one confused me iu must admit, i thought it was a warbler but didnt see the brown cap until i downloaded it.

Yesterday, a probably weasel shot across the path in front of me.
Juvenile Great Crested Grebe over on the main lake, their neck and head has white and black stripes.
5x Goosander seen on the big lakes too, went and had a look but no sign for me.
