Spotted our local osprey and nest whilst out walking, no pics! Also 4 species of butterfly, red admiral small blue and 2 yet to identify.

Bottom photo is a Meadow Brown.

'Chased' this one of two for five minutes, they were always 'just' on the wrong side...also very difficult to get the right exposure while under trees, had to highlight its head because it was in shade when i got back. Happy i got it though

Along with a jeuvenile Moorhen, cautiously working its way down to the water..

Sadly, i got a good look at a Kingfisher again but twice now, when looking back, the photos were'nt very well focused
