Oh aye, Mack Knobfeeler is a cracking axeman. Weird thing is he apparently doesn't rate himself, reckons he's only average.

Brilliant guitarist who i was lucky to see live on stage.


I was also lucky to see him too, but unlucky for him it was when he got pushed off the stage at the Rainbow and broke his back, 1971 I think.

1st gig after most of the bands equipment had been burnt in the fire mentioned in Deep Purple's 'Smoke On The Water'

How can anyone listen to Bongo Fury, it's mental. You can just tell from the cover that Franky and Donny weren't getting on.
