A question of degree, then you believe? My right not to have you trampling over my little plot is acceptable even protected, but not if my plot is several thousand acres? Do you therefore argue that all property rights are conditional on quantity?
Whilst I recognise and accept that if there are ancient rights of passage they must be respected, but to suggest that sans any such rights any lands anywhere must be surrendered to common usage is tantamount to communistic fervour and must be resisted.
