Ha, I'm pretty sure I raced F. Achilles in real life in a local race series here called "Rex Sommercup".

And? we need more than that!

I don’t think you or anyone dropped below 4.3w/k.
Is this with the new trainer ? If so It seems you are faster with it and so perhaps will sell your NEO? ;)
I was 5.3 w/kg for 5 mins; in fact for whole climb so another PB.
I'm using new quarq dfour power meter with the kura which may read a little higher than Neo but not had a chance to compare. The Kura is a great fluid trainer although 'dumb', but the resistance is huge. I think it's helping keeping higher power.
Actually thinking of selling the Neo when I get it back!

Sun is shining here and roads are drying up. Workout downloaded to Garmin and about to ride outside for the first time this year :wahhey:.

Today I planned an attempt at my 3 hour max power which stood at 189 watts. I was okay after 1 hr, running at 208W but started to tire as I reached 90 minutes. I was at 202 after 2 hours, resisted the nagging voice in my head telling me to stop and ended up at 198W, so job done.

I found it harder than I expected, but I suppose it is the hardest I have ridden ever for 3 hours (based on straight power) so its not so surprising

You should Join the WBR 160 rides I've been doing,. They will last 3hr45 to 4hr15 in time.
For me, it's around the 3 hour point I have to start to dig deep, mentally. Today I lost focus and left the ride, but actually it's the best I've felt physically. I averaged 250W and my HR was 150bpm, Speed is pretty high@26mph, riding within the pact imperative, cause lots of valuable energy is lost chasing back on. I developed a lap routine for each climb and flat section so I never found myself at the back at the wrong part of the lap

I popped in at 5w/k to wind you up as you went into the volcano ^_^ Then went pop and ended up with cramps on the zsun club ride:rolleyes:

What time was this Bob. I didn't notice you, sorry. It's was intense today, not as many so it was easy to end up at the wrong end of the pack very quickly.

I may do that soon - I need to do more longer rides as I prepare for the Fred Whitton. I also want to have a go at beating my 4 hour best power as well, so it would be ideal.

Your 250W for 3 hours would be me at FTP

I'm a bigger rider, bigger watts. Most riders are around 190-220 and stick in the pack

You were at 40km I think.
