Had exactly the same situation in a race I did yesterday. D pen, which was supposed to be 180 to 350, had one rider get a ten second lead over a chasing pack of about 15 other riders within the first few miles and he stayed away for the entire race, winning it by four minutes, doing an average of 3.5 w/kg for an hour.Needless to say he was off the front solo in each race. Because he'd had a break from Zwift racing over the summer, his data was reset. It isn't a ZRS issue only. Happens in other systems too. If you're an Emerald in March, unless you've had a bad accident or something you're not going to be down to platinum in the same year. It just goes too far.
Returning riders should not be allowed to drop that far.
Looking at his profile, he'd been back on Zwift for a week or two, so should have had up to date power figures, but hadn't done any races since March. However the ZRS ZwiftPower add-in suggests that his racing score is now somewhere in the mid 400's but it only went up by about 20, meaning that if true, surely he should have been above the 350 range at race start. Very odd.
