It will work, but isn't perfect. this is due to tb Bkool not having a power meter. The best way to make it work most reliably is to unplug the bkool pro after you've logged in to Zwift- this resets the trainer and it works more realistically.
A more upmarket trainer would serve you better but there is a cost downside
The Qubo wasn't perfect. Is it 'just' a case of the Bkool's power figures being a little out? Less so with your fix? As far as I'm aware it's a smart trainer that will give me a power output (up to 1,200w) and change the resistance on hills (up to 20%). I realise it's not going to be bang on as long as it's somewhat realistic and gets harder on hills then I'm happy, is that the case?
Remember I'm coming from a bargain basement Qubo, I don't expect it to be a Neo.
