I'm heading up to Clitheroe, Lancashire, later this morning. Tomorrow I'm doing the TLI Nationals Road Race Championship. I may have mentioned before that TLI (The League International) are one of the major cycling race organisers. The race is around a 4 mile road circuit and will be 48 miles long. I'll post a report afterwards.

I missed the British Cycling National Masters Road Race last weekend - but I had a good excuse, my youngest daughter got married in Bristol.

Good luck for tomorrow
You should do well as your wallet must be a lot lighter after last weekend
Congrats

As I read that I pictured you in full cycle kit including helmet walking her down the isle saying “ All yours, Gotta go”

Anyone fancy this: https://www.dorset-bike-ride.co.uk/the-routes.html

I'm doing an 80 miler next Sunday but started looking for 100 miler and this popped up. Not sure where I will be living at the time, but whether current house or new house I will have spare beds and car parking the night before if anyone further away fancies it. I'll be about 1.5 hours drive from the start so it will be an early start the ride day ... just be warned :smile:

Feeling a bit bereft today… I lost my £10 Planet X Carnac sunglasses when I capsized a sea-kayak in the surf on Aberporth beach. My first instinct was (probably rightly) to drag my four-year-old out of the water, and it was only afterwards that I realised I’d lost my sunnies… 😎 😟

We were in Aberporth a few weeks ago, lovely area. Stayed in a village just outside New Quay. Also visited the great beaches at Llangrannog & Mwnt.

@Del C just read that Greg Lemonds V02 max was 92.5! While Sean Kelly’s was the lowest in his team , leading him to say, when challenged;
“Your machine doesn’t measure suffering does it?” 😁

Urgggh… two weeks away from Zwift since the Uber Pretzel, the last week of which has been holiday indulgences (lots of fish and chips). I had to put my weight up by 2kg this morning, and my FTP should probably have come down by 10W or so because, although I completed my workout, I was pretty close to bailing…

Hi guys I’ve not been keeping up with the forum since mine and lee’s ventoux trip really. I managed to talk Bob into velodrome riding and kind of got fully engrossed in that. So I don’t know if anyone else has taken a look at or designed new CC club jerseys?

Got another increase to 54 yesterday after my club run. Garmin Connect now telling me I'm in the top 1% for my age group and I've got the fitness of a 20 year old! I like Garmin Connect!! :angel:

I'm guessing Greg LeMond's target might be just out of reach? But I like Sean Kelly!
