@Del C I think we're doing battle with your ladder team next week

You are and your name has been mentioned in our Discord chat! Not by me, but by Chris Harrison, who I think has raced against you before?

Sadly, I'm away on holiday from Monday for 10 days, so I'm not in the team for next week.

It really is a completely different style of racing from most other Zwift races. This week's race was 8 laps of Glasgow Crit. I was only watching due to illness (ok now). No crazy fast starts.

The group rolled around for the first 2 laps. One of our guys attacked on the Clyde kicker on lap 2, 2 more of our team went straight over the top and opened a gap. Our opponents didn't react, so we had 2 guys up the road stretching their lead, while 3 of our team just sat in with their 5, refusing to pull.

It feels much closer to what you'd get IRL. We ended up with 4 of the top 5 places!

Yes. He's a bit of a beast. Raced him at least twice that I know of.

It was nice actually. Obviously the whole thing will depend on team tactics, but at least we weren't forced to beat ourselves up going for segments.

Especially useful for those of us who use a smart bike, but others might find it helpful as well - Strava now allows you to pick a different bike as your default for Virtual Rides rather than insisting you use the same one for outdoor rides and forcing you to change it manually each time.

Yep cheers. I saw GP Llama's vid on it and have set Strava up to do it. Nice feature.

FRR done, as expected with a climb from the start, groups formed into their categories. A bit steady in the middle portion. I'd forget that there are sprint points also. So didn't contest a couple and went with the leaders of my pack just to keep in touch and not burn too many matches. New PB up Petit so pleased with that.

I'll await those who can navigate the FRR site , I find it poorly laid out , difficult to find results 😔

Video rendering but it's long old thing

FRR Results are usually processed in batches a bit after the events.

Easy ride for me today as doing first ton of the year tomorrow.

Sounds good. Expect exactly the same in my race - splits into ability groups after the first climb. My may have a few more riders so that increases a chance of finding a good pace. I'm looking for this series to be a great bit of exercise, so will definitely contest the segments.
