I got a Coospo HRM as a Christmas present. It has been very reliable so far.

Excellent - that's encouraging.
@N0bodyOfTheGoat needs advice about the Victory. Have you used yours yet? It must be almost out of warranty

I also switched from a Scosche HRM to a Coospo (or Goose Poo as my wife has nicknamed it) and am also happy with it. To be fair, the Scosche monitor itself was also reliable, it was the charging cradle that kept on failing (went through three in a year) which persuaded me to go with another brand.

How did it go @bridgy? Guessing it may have been an uphill battle with the drop outs

Yeah it didn't go great! Firstly Bert didn't get off the start line for some reason so we started with 5, and Greg had already said he was feeling ill and wouldn't be doing any turns! Greg then dropped off I think about halfway, leaving 4. Then shortly after that, Bram has to go to do Dad duties so we had to wait for Greg who was still riding but 30 seconds back. Then it was just a matter of getting 4 of us to the line - with me and John doing 99% of the pulling.

So I can't imagine we got a very good time - but I did get a good workout!

Nightmare. Although yes I'm sure a good workout and at least we aren't at the very pointy end of the league

Ha ha! I have done a couple of rides with the Victory on MyWhoosh, but last week I decided that I would take the 25% off Black Friday offer on a year's subscription to TrainingPeaks Premium/Virtual, and have done a few decent zone 2 sessions on that.

I have had a few teething problems with my setup but I don't think that the Victory trainer was to blame.

I haven't given the trainer a really severe test yet, but at least so far it has been good.

I will be using it a lot over the next 3-4 months unless we have a really benign winter.

Talking of Goose poo, I noticed the H6 is only £22 on Amazon today. A spare strap is £13 so it's hardly worth bothering with that if you need a spare.

We did race 1 a year or so ago and it took about 3 minutes.

We've got a few already. Quite a vELO range too...

I've just signed up - a few more were on the list (12 I think). Couldn't see it on the Companion App for some reason? So signed up via ZP which took me to Zwift.com

Looking at your list of VELO scores, I'll have my arse handed to me royally ^_^

Signed up . If Martins worried I'm trembling in my cycling shoes . I'm tempted to turn up for the TT on a Brompton cruise along and save my energy for my least favourite route on Swift

I think we all will - there's even a diamond in the pen who will give Peter some competition if he joins. (he seems to have changed his mind)

It won't be on Companion App search list because - at least for the moment - it's not on the public calendar.
But anyone with the race link can join and I have placed that in a few places. Once you've signed up though, you should see it in companion app.

I'm looking forward to it - should be fun. And hopefully the following week we might get some more people from the US. With such a range though, most of us should be able to find someone to ride with for most of the time. In Glasgow it'll be a case of "can we hold on up the Clyde?" then if "YES" "can we do it again next time"? Repeat until dead.
