I reckon any cyclechatter under 40y should carry a weight handicap equivalent to 1kilo for every years difference. So Darren should have a 15kilo penalty. What say the rest of you?

Pretzel training ride tonight, a little faster than my 2016 bkool efforts so reasonably happy with time. I reckon there’s 10-20m to come off but ideally in a race or fast group ride.

Despite having a good go at the corkscrew, young Darren is still on the top spot

I held constant wattage throughout the climb. Estimated finish time only occasionally went sub 7.40 and eventually drifted out

I might try another tactic of running nearer to 400W but with a much lower cadence to keep heart rate down
