OP - What's the hurry....?
Just find yourself a decent hill and a spare pair of pants for when you hit a pothole at the bottom.I personally demand lower speed limits so us unfit cyclists can break them. A NSL of 12.5mph should do it
... you can get points on your licence, and this can be applied even if you don't have one too.
while it was in the back of a taxi? ;-)I've tripped a speed camera on my Trice...

How does a cyclist know how fast he's going? :-s
yes, and a warning signHas anyone ever set a gatso off?
Yes - I was cycling up-hill at the time ;but, I think it must have been broken it was going off for everything that went past.Has anyone ever set a gatso off?
yes, and a warning sign
Where do you live the North Pole ? Very light for quarter past 11 at night
Tripping a Gatso requires help from other riders, I believe. Rumour has it that a substantial amount of metal is needed to get the sensor angry. Riding four abreast at 40 mph might do it.
Riding alone at 34 mph will not.
there were a few opf these on the Olympic park at construction phase . when walking across site in winter after cycling to site entrance I could get it to pick me up and I got a 6mph once !! couldn't sustain that for more than a minute or so but it was good to see the sign pick me up.There is a speed warning display in a 30mph limit near me which records my speed each time I pass.
Usually it shows 11mph, but if I'm in a hurry it has been as high as 12mph.
