My scheduled beginner ladies ride in the park yesterday dwindled from 8 to zero participants due to the weather

I have been running as I have a half marathon two weeks on Sunday......but squeezed in a quick 30 miles tonight, but Strava is telling me half the segments I done dont match the route!!! who broke strava while I was gone???

Use Raceshape's SNAP tool. You've probably got GPS drift.

Didn't work , segment I was after involves doubling back on the same road you go up. Weird how so much of the route was out of sync, on roads iv covered dozens of times

Maybe the ride that the segment was created on was subject to GPS drift?

Maybe it's because you weren't going fast enough ...

There were about 10 segments that strava s saying I didnt take the right route, when I have ridden same roads amd segments dozens of times. Think it's Garmins gps, as my mate has had same issues on his ride on strava

Was your altitude wildly inaccurate? Usually that's the cause of drift.

I didn't really look at it, and Tried the correction on strava and it didn't change much . Guessing means I just have to do the route again

Not long back. Slightly misty near Perth then sun broke through and was glorious. Really enjoyed it.
