It would probably have aerodynamic benefits too.Mmm... just had a brainwave for part of my ideal bicycle: titanium coated with teflon, to make cleaning easier. You definitely couldn't call THAT bog-standard

Not noticeably, and being holy, and therefore lighter, it has the distinct disadvantage of floating, and needing several flushes to get it down.
