You forgot the main one SC, the one everyone, and I mean everyone does..............when trying to look cool coming up to a junction and you are using clipless pedals for, probably the first time..........

Probably because I don't use clipless, I was going on personal experience

I still have part of my old RAF No1 dress uniform & my helmet (firefighters) - no trousers though.

No, I shall not lower myself. It has to be Military, Police or Fire.
Worked with too many paramedics over the years to find those green cucumber uniforms attractive

I remember starting at a new department in the hospital and my charge nurse was female.
One day a very handsome cop came in asking for her. As we'd recently had an incident, I thought it was about that.
So I told her...hey there's a VERY handsome cop out there asking for you.
She told me later....oh by the way, that handsome cop? My husband.

I've never understood the whole uniform thing. I all seems oddly creepy* and bizarre in equal measure to me!!

What is it they say??

There is some statistic somewhere that says that a certain percentage of the population would happily electrocute someone to death purely because someone with authority or wearing a uniform told them too.

As such, that's why I find the Uniform thing all rather unsettling.....
