2009 Northern Rock Cyclone Challenge

Just signed up for this... did the 63 miles last yr, stepping up to the 100 this year. Anyone else doing it?

I did the medium one last year and it was a good day out. Unfortunately I am on holiday in Cornwall on this year's date, but otherwise I would have signed up.

I'll be doing the 60+ miles route. I won't have been near a bike for over two weeks before this ride and figure that the 100 would be too much of a shock for my little old legs.

Unfortunately SWMBO is running her first marathon on the same weekend and she's roped me in for moral support and a steady supply of energy bars. Otherwise, I'd do the Cyclone again. Had a really good weekend last year. Perhaps do it again next year.

im doing the northern rock circuit race on the friday, and may do the cyclone aswell, although how far i can ride is cut down as im a under 16 youth

Thanks,being serious now up to 30 miles at the moment (weekly110) but the hills are killing me! any tips
