Would be an interesting novelty to have if you had a Ford Zephyr or something from back in the day. It seems a bit of a gimmick really and I will never smoke a cigarette ever again anyway.

awesome!

Youngsters these days just can't get their heads round what it used to be like; tiny ashtrays on the end of the armrests on the trains, watching movies through a thick fog of fag smoke, the lady in the grocery store smoking behind the counter.... all recent history for many of us but a completely different world for them

Even the once-ubiquitous cigarette lighter - the one that would pop out at solar temperatures and melt anything it was dropped on - is long gone and many current drivers of the younger generation wouldn't even recognise it.

Even Massey Ferguson fitted them to the 100 range of tractors in the '60s. They didn't bother providing silly things like a cab or brakes that worked properly but at least you could light your fag and relax when freezing to death or hurtling towards oblivion with overheating, fading brakes
