BBC News are running a week of news articles on cycling, Monday it was Chris Boardman and Louise Minchin taking in a commute cycle ride, today (Tuesday) it seems to be covering cycling accidents near misses and training truck drivers in London what its like to be on a Bicycle.

So far my impression is that it is very biased towards London, and that if you get on a bicycle you will have an accident or die! anybody else seen this on TV yet :blink:

Errrm, Chris and Louise were doing a cycle commute in Manchester....

Maybe it was just todays programme, and I have slept since yesterday! but the message so far, for me is Cycling will change the colour of your undercrackers !

I've just made the same(ish) point on the other thread. Cycling safety seems to be focused on urban usage.
