I bought my Supersix 105 team replica for £1,700 about 3 months ago (£1000 through the cycle to work scheme and £700 of my own cash). I had no choice but to go through Evans. Good thing is though I'll get the £1000 tax free, so it'll only cost me around £1350 in total!
I'm guessing I've done nearly 1000 miles on it so far and I can honestly say it's a fantastic bike, even with the standard Mavic Aksiom/Aksion wheel and tyre set. The 105 grouppo has performed impeccably, with fast, precise changes, and to be honest, unless you're obsessed with saving weight, I can't see any reason why you would want to upgrade to Ultegra or beyond. One thing I am planning to shell out on is a decent carbon clincher wheelset for the summer.
Go on...BUY IT!! You won't regret it!
