Frame ordered along with 105 group thanks to @stevede !! So I shall have a venge with a 105 group so not too shabby.... Will be going with cheap shimano wheels for the time being though unless I find a second hand bargain on eBayeBay

Will that be 10 speed 105 jack or the soon to be released 11 speed ?
Asking as it might make a difference to wheel set compatibility, might not, just a thought.

Also, as a stop gap wheelset the Shimano RS30's (aluminium 30mm depth approx 1850g) are on sale at 129.99 at www.ribblecycles.co.uk but only in white with black & red decals.

Alternatively how about a set of Mavic Aksium S with tyres (sold as a wheel system, matching tyres) some good deals on line.

I will be taking my Aksiums straight off my Cube when I eventually get it sorted on C2W but will probably keep em as a winter set.

10'speed  I've just been looking at the 30mm shimano's and they are definatley a contender unless i find better wheels at a good price  I'll probably end up with £150 aside for wheels

Just checked out Mavic Aksium S WTS (Wheel Tyre System).
1735g set, on sale for £174.99 inc tyres (shimano fitting only) at www.merlincycles.com

I can vouch for Merlins great customer service & pricing having used them many times over.

http://www.merlincycles.com/carbotech-k30-wheelset-61299.html anyone have experience of theese? Very cheap and seem rather light

Coming soon: Bonking on a hill near you!
Saw the S-Works Tarmac frame in the Concept store the other week, was very surprised at the weight of it (or lack of!). Made me really want one.

My problem is, if I bought that frame, I'd want a lightweight groupset and a lightweight set of wheels and that will result in a hefty bill. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

They might make a stop gap set but the Mavics inc tyres specifically designed by Mavic.
If you paid £80 for the Carbotech's you would still need £42 (current deal) for a pair of Schwalbe ZX Ultremo's (again @ Merlin).

The Mavics win for me because they will make an excellent winter/training wheel when you upgrade later.

Myself, I am going to scrape around for the money to fund the new; 2014 Fast Forward (FFWD) F4 R-C 45mm carbon/alu clinchers & put on hold any further bikes (apart from C2W Cube).
