Who needs an excuse and why shouldn't middle-aged people not do so might I ask - and what about old aged? People can wear what they want and it makes sense to wear the stuff that is practical for whatever activity you might be undertaking

Are you approaching this from the angle that you're a mere youngster and you find the sight of us middle aged uns in lycra disgusting, or are you middle aged yourself and you are feeling a bit self-conscious about looking like an oven wrapped turkey?

^_^

Is it me or is cycling just an excuse for middle age people to wear lycra?
