Rode no-handed all the time as a kid but cannot do it now - what's that all about? Maybe it's not "just like riding a bike..."

A new world record was set recently by a Norwegian for cycling backwards!

http://www.aftenposten.no/nyheter/sport/article2539129.ece

The previous record had stood for 45 years.

142.4 km in 7 hours!

The question is WHY?

This fella hold the no-handed cycling record. I don't think he's from Israel though:

Got to love riding no handed. I can do it for ages. Best to go round courners doing it, you really have to keep controlle of the bike. Its good for you.

Yes Joe, but you're young. Most of us old gets have enough trouble bending down to get our slippers on, let alone cycling no hands. Burrittallcumteryowanall ;)

Hehe...at 50 i still ride no handed occasioanally on a long ride. Did about 4 or 5 miles once on a long quiet stretch of country road. Round moderate bends isnt too hard. My niece saw me commuting one day no handed....she said to my wife later... 'isnt he a bit old for all that'
